  • Christmas in Williams Park Open 5:30 to 9 p.m. daily from Nov. 30 to Dec. 22 at Williams Park, 6595 238th St. Drive through to see the light displays. Donations accepted to cover costs.
  • Christmas department Penny Pincher Thrift Store, 20550 Fraser Hwy., has a large selection of holiday items. Volunteers to help during the busy holiday season needed. Info: 604-530-3232.
  • Loft Country Christmas From 5 to 9 p.m. Nov. 22 to Dec. 30, enjoy old fashioned fun such as a real horse carousel, bumper cars, a horse-drawn sleigh, hot drinks, barbecue, carolers, live music, comedy, carnival game, petting zoo, and more.   • There鈥檚 No Business like Snow Business The 91原创 Community Chorus has concerts at 3 p.m. on Dec. 8 in St. Dunstan鈥檚 Anglican Church, 3025 264th St., on Dec. 15 in the Willoughby Christian Reformed Church, 20525 72nd Ave., and on Dec. 16 at the United Churches of 91原创, 201562 Old Yale Rd.   • Two from Galilee Theatre in the Country presents a dinner theatre of the story of Mary and Joseph. Runs Dec. 5 to Dec. 15 (Wednesdays to Saturdays) at 5708 Glover Rd. Dec. 1

  • Holiday craft fair Lynn Fripps Elementary, 21020 83rd Ave., has a fair 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Entry is by donation to the PAC. Handmade items only. There鈥檚 a more than 50 vendors, a concession, and hot chocolate.
  • Christmas bazaar The annual St. George鈥檚 Anglican Church, 9160 Church St., features crafts, jewellery, cedar and holly wreaths, books, and baking for sale as well as lunch. Funds raised are used for community outreach programs. Stop by Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Joyful Tidings The Opus One Women鈥檚 Choir presents a holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 1 in the Immanuel Christian Reformed Church, 201713 50th Ave. Tickets: $18 for adults, $15 for seniors and students, and 18 and younger get in free. Info: opusonwomenschoir@gmail.com.
  • Breakfast with Santa The Inclusion 91原创 annual breakfast is $8 per person or $30 for a family (up to four people). Dec. 1 at the 91原创 Golf and Banquet Centre. 9 and 11 a.m. seatings sold out. 1 p.m. seating available. Buffet breakfast, Santa and his elf, train rides, and Santa鈥檚 workshop (kids can pick out a gift for members of their family. By donation). Photos with Santa: $15.   • Sounds of Christmas Lillie Knauls, the Pilkey Sisters, Keith Bennett, Mark Donnelly and the Class Brass Gospel Band perform at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 1 at the Cloverdale Baptist Church, 18685 64th Ave. The event supports the 91原创 Food Bank. $20 in advance or $25 at the door.   • Holiday market Gordon Greenwood Elementary, 9175 206th St., has a market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 1. Free childcare on site, vendors and a food truck.
  • Craft fair The Riverside Calvary Chapel, 20178 96th Ave., invites the public to its Christmas fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 1. Lots of vendors as well as a concession, kids crafts, and more. Rentals: riversidecalvary.com.
  • Magic of Christmas 91原创 City hosts a day of activities Dec. 1. Pancrake breakfast with Santa is 9 to 11 a.m. at the Douglas Recreation Centre. $10 per person ages four and older. Must sign up in advance at 604-514-2940 or 604-514-2865. Full breakfast, crafts, facepainting, magic and Santa. Free pre-parade activities. Live entertainment and crafts at McBurney Plaza from 4 to 6 p.m. Christmas parade is at 6 p.m. followed by the tree lighting and caroling in McBurney at 7 p.m. Info: www.langleycity.ca.

Dec. 2

  • Something Old鈥 Something New At 3 p.m. on Dec. 2 in Fort 91原创 Lion鈥檚 Seniors Hall, 23022 88th Ave., join the 91原创 Concert Band for an afternoon of festive music. Admission is by donation ($10 suggested for adults. Children get in free).
  • Sensory friendly Santa visits For children with every spectrum of special needs, Willowbrook Shopping Centre hosts special visits with Santa. One complimentary ticket per family. Available on eventbrite.ca (Sensory friendly Santa event). Visits with Santa are free. Photos available for purchase. Sessions: 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 2.
  • Santa Paws Book a time for professional pet photos with Santa between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Dec. 2 at the Patti Dale Animal Shelter, 26220 56th Ave. For a minimum $20 donation to the 91原创 Animal Protection Society. Booking and info: 604-857-5055.
  • Popera Vivace performs holiday favourites and more on Dec. 2. The concert starts at 2:30 p.m. in the United Church of 91原创, 21562 Old Yale Rd. Dec. 6

  • Christmas fashion show Help support the 91原创 Secondary School dry grad. The show is 7 p.m. on Dec. 6 at the school. Admission: $7 ($5 for students), available in advance at the school or at the door. Enjoy treats, raffles, and more. New this year is a grad formal wear consignment sale. Sellers must RSVP to thestephensclan@shaw.ca.

Dec. 7

  • Dicken鈥檚 A Christmas Carol Enjoy the Dicken鈥檚 classic tale by Britannica Repertory, music and carols by local musicians is at 7 p.m. on Dec. 7 in the United Churches of 91原创, 21562 Old Yale Rd. Tickets: $10 ($25 for families of three or more). The event benefits children鈥檚 programs of the 91原创 Arts Council. Info: langleyarts.ca or 604-534-0781.
  • Night of Lights The Brookswood Village Merchants Association鈥檚 third annual Night of Lights has Elsa and Anna from Frozen, Santa Paws photos with pets (free), Santa for the kids, the Peace Arch chorus, treats, and a tree lighting at 6:30 p.m. Kids can write letters to Santa. Events start at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 7. 200th Street and 40th Avenue area.
  • Christmas Carol benefit On Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. in the Sharon United Church, 21562 Old Yale Rd., all ages can enjoy the fifth annual local Dickens show with period costumes, musical selections, and more. Benefits the 91原创 Arts Council children鈥檚 program. Tickets: $10 in advance or $12 at the door. $25 for a family. At Long & McQuade 91原创 or the Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Centre.

Dec. 8

  • Quirky Quiver Christmas cards All ages can make quirky cards using the library green screen from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 8 at the 91原创 City public library, 20399 Douglas Cres. Free. Info: 604-514-2850.

Dec. 9

  • Breakfast with Santa Krause Berry Farms is cooking up pancakes for the annual fundraiser in memory of Liz Krause. Breakfast served 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 9 with Santa visiting around 10 a.m. Spiderman and Elsa visit. There鈥檚 also facepainting. First come first serve event at 6179 248th St. Proceeds to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
