Registration is now open for the Kiwanis Fraser Valley International Music Festival.
The 19th annual event will take place from April 9 - May 23 at Kwantlen Polytechnic University鈥檚 91原创 campus, with composition sessions held at Kwantlen鈥檚 Surrey campus and harp and guzheng classes held at 91原创 Community Music School.
The festival offers classes for students of piano, strings, woodwinds, brass, voice, guitar and harp. Sessions and workshops for chamber ensembles, choirs, orchestras, jazz bands, concert bands and vocal jazz ensembles are available as well.
The early bird deadline for entries is Feb. 6. After that, a $5 late fee will apply, but registrations will still be accepted until the sessions are full.
