Even as Miss B.C., Hannah Seaman, prepares to compete for the title of Miss World Canada next month at River Rock Casino in Richmond, the 91Ô­´´ woman is keeping up her commitment to helping others.

Seaman will host a burger and beer fundraising night at Townhall Public House, 19640 64 Ave.  on Thursday, April 18 for Variety the Children’s Charity.

Tickets are $20. The event begins at 7 p.m. and will include a 50/50 draw and silent auction.
