This fall, Cineplex 91原创 will once again host the Event Cinema Stage Series, featuring a range of acclaimed performances captured live from some of the world鈥檚 best theatre companies, including The National Theatre, Stratford Festival and Broadway.
The season begins Oct. 19 and runs through to the end of the year, with an Oscar Wilde series in the works for 2018.

CYRANO DE BERGERAC 鈥 Broadway HD (captured live)

In this funny and romantic play, soldier and poet Cyrano de Bergerac (Kevin Kline) is in love with Roxane (Jennifer Garner), but he鈥檚 too ashamed to admit it because of his big nose. When a cadet, Christian (Daniel Sunjata), falls for Roxane, he asks for Cyrano鈥檚 help in sharing his feelings. Cyrano writes love letters signed with Christian鈥檚 name, and Roxane doesn鈥檛 realize that it鈥檚 Cyrano鈥檚 words she falls for. She marries Christian, and Cyrano continues to keep the other man鈥檚 secret, even after tragedy strikes.

Tomorrow the iconic building will be demolished. Thirty years after their final performance, the Follies girls gather to have a few drinks, sing a few songs and lie about themselves. Tracie Bennett, Janie Dee and Imelda Staunton play the magnificent Follies in this dazzling new production. Featuring a cast of 37 and an orchestra of 21, it鈥檚 directed by Dominic Cooke (The Comedy of Errors).
