Chris Hadfield lands in Chilliwack for night of science, storytelling, songs

Retired Canadian astronaut coming to Chilliwack Cultural Centre for 'Beyond the Sky: An Intimate Evening with Chris Hadfield'

Chris Hadfield is landing in Chilliwack this fall.

The retired Canadian astronaut will be at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre for Beyond the Sky: An Intimate Evening with Chris Hadfield on Sept. 25. The centre is calling it a "spectacular highlight" of its 15th anniversary season.

Hadfield, who's also an author and musician, will bring his signature blend of science, storytelling, and song to Chilliwack for a night of curiosity, creativity, and discovery.

"From commanding the International Space Station to captivating millions with his viral cover of Space Oddity, Hadfield has inspired a generation to look to the stars 鈥 and to re-imagine what鈥檚 possible here on Earth," the centre stated in a press release.
