Cineplex invites guests to celebrate Mother鈥檚 Day by taking Mom to one of the greatest musicals ever filmed, Singin鈥� in the Rain, on the big screen.

Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds and Donald O鈥機onnor sing and dance their way back to the 91原创 theatre on May 14 with an encore screening on May 17. The film is screening as part of Cineplex Events Classic Film Series, which provides audiences with the opportunity to re-live old time favourites the way they were meant to be seen 鈥� on the big screen and shared with an audience.

Singin鈥� in the Rain stars Kelly at the pinnacle of his career and Reynolds in her breakthrough role, accompanied by a star-studded ensemble cast of O鈥機onnor, Millard Mitchell, Jean Hagen, Cyd Charisse and Rita Moreno.

Nominated for two Academy Awards, Singin鈥� in the Rain is set in the days of Hollywood鈥檚 transition from silent films to 鈥渢alkies鈥� and features memorable songs, lavish routines and Kelly鈥檚 fabulous song-and-dance number performed in the rain.

This year also marks the film鈥檚 65th anniversary.
