Do you enjoy singing and dancing? Have you always wanted to be on stage? The Fraser Valley Gilbert and Sullivan Society is holding auditions for its next rollicking Gilbert and Sullivan production, the ever popular and fun musical comedy, The Gondoliers.

A large cast of men and women is required for the 17 available lead parts and approximately 10 chorus roles. New members to the G&S society are always welcome. To audition you must be at least 16 years old.

Please prepare an audition song from any G&S or Broadway show. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key and 3-hole punched in a binder for the pianist. If you don鈥檛 have sheet music, a cassette tape or CD track, without vocals, is also acceptable.

Lead by artistic director Christina Wells Campbell, musical director Vashti Fairbairn, choreographer Carol Seitz, and producer Reginald Pillay, auditions will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 18 and Thursday, Jan. 20. Rehearsals for The Gondoliers begin on Feb. 1 and will be held on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Performance dates are scheduled for May 11 to 21 at the Surrey Arts Centre Theatre.
