One of the largest arts festivals in the Fraser Valley returns to 91Ô´´ City this month.

The 24th annual Arts Alive Festival will take over the Downtown 91Ô´´ core on Saturday, Aug. 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Hundreds of artistic vendors, ranging from painters to jewellers to musicians and more will be set up on Fraser Highway between 204 and 206 Streets and in Salt Lane.

Past events have seen as many as 25,000 people come out to enjoy their local creative talent.

On the Arts Alive Showcase Stage in McBurney Plaza, performances will be taking place all day long from musicians Alex Maher, Dominique Fricot, Bees and the Bare Bones, Coastline Pilot and The Redwoods.

In the Children’s Fun Zone, listen to performances by Andrew Christopher and Rossi Music, or check out the great line-up of free activities, including balloon twisters, face painters, crafts and bouncy castles.
