The Fraser Valley Wedding Festival on Oct. 17 offers a fun and interactive perspective on wedding planning, with live music and delicious dips into chocolate fondue in the complimentary bridal tearoom.

鈥淭his is our seventh festival and we are making it a girls鈥� night out,鈥� says Tamara O鈥橞rien, the event producer. 鈥淪ip on a glass of wine, go shopping, and enter to win prizes. The only rule is have fun.鈥�

The festival鈥檚 one-of-a-kind d茅cor showcase welcomes brides into entirely decorated rooms, each designed in a spectacular wedding d茅cor theme with incredible floral arrangements, table dressings, and hot new colour schemes.

Brides can shop until they drop in the 鈥渕atrimonial mall鈥� where experts at the mini storefronts help plan the big day. The festival is on Monday, October 17, from 4 to 8 p.m. at The Coast Hotel and Convention Centre, 20393 Fraser Highway in 91原创.  Admission is $5 and tickets are available at the door.
