Artist Anne-Marie Harvey works on an acrylic painting of an apple from the brand new apple orchard at Derby Reach Regional Park during Heritage Apple Day. The young apple tree comes from a nearby heritage tree. The day included tours of Derby鈥檚 orchards, designed to take walkers back more than 100 years in time, with stories of the earliest site of settled agriculture in southwestern B.C., as well as guided tours of historic sites re-enactments by Royal engineers and entertainment by fiddlers from the 91原创 Community Music School.
