A rumble will take place on Saturday at the sports box at McLeod Athletic Park.

The inaugural Grant Thornton Community Classic Road Hockey Rumble will see adults and youth participate in three separate tournaments: adult, bigs (ages 12 to 14) and littles (ages 8 to 11).  They run 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the McLeod Park sports box (58 Avenue and 214 Street).

There will also be a silent  auction, barbecue and other activities. All funds raised by the tournament will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of 91原创 in an effort to raise awareness and funds for their programs.

鈥淲e are so excited that Grant Thornton is supporting mentoring in 91原创 in such a tangible way,鈥� said Big Brothers Big Sister executive director Mary Reeves.

鈥淣ot only are they raising funds so we can provide more children with the support of a positive role model, but they are also promoting the importance of mentoring and the need for more men and women to volunteer in their own organization.鈥�
