ITEM 1

Made by Acme, this Depression-era kitchen implement was used to cut pastry, dough or biscuits. As well, it could be used as a rocker chopper for herbs or garlic.

.

ITEM 2

Shoemakers used cast iron shoe lasts (forms) to make footwear for people in the days before mass production.

.

ITEM 3

This glass, metal and wood item was used to whip cream. The lid was cut so that the spiral spindle and blade turned as the person lifted the plunger up and down.

.

ITEM 4

Handmade toys, such as this carved Russian wood toy featuring two goats on a seesaw, were common in generations past.
