It was a doggone scorcher last weekend.

Bodhi can attest to that.

The pooch was rescued from a kill shelter in California and is loving life in Canada.

Bodhi didn鈥檛 mind getting doused with water at the spray park next to Al Anderson Memorial Pool, while visiting the park with owner Carina Stenstrom on a sizzling Sunday morning, June 25.

A two-day heat wave hit most of B.C. over the weekend, setting at least 11 temperature records, including in neighbouring Abbotsford where it reached 32.2 degrees Celsius.

To the relief of some, the heat has backed off this week, with daytime high temperatures expected to reach between 21 degrees and 24 degrees Celsius in 91原创 from now until Sunday.
