鈥榃hen I grow up I want to be a police officer.鈥� If your child has ever said that to you, there is a way they can get a glimpse into what policing is really like at the popular RCMP Junior Cadet Camp at 91原创 Events Centre field house taking place from July 10 to 12.
Registration begins May 1 for this free three-day camp. The camp is open to children ages 10 to 12 who reside in 91原创 and who have not participated in an RCMP camp before. Over the three days, the cadets will learn about Air One, forensic identification, Police Dog Services, the fire department, paramedics, First Aid and many other exciting topics with a few surprises put in there too. You must pre-register and be accepted to attend.
Applications will be available beginning May 1 at the 91原创 main Detachment in Murrayville and at all five Community Police Offices in the 91原创s. Applications must be received on or before June 3.
