One-year-old Cadence Balfour decided to walk so the family doggies got a short ride in the stroller during Brookswood Summerfest on Saturday.

Community members turned out to enjoy a day of fun at the 18th annual Brookswood Summerfest June 10.

All day on Saturday, the public can enjoy family-oriented activities which wrapped up about the same time as brief rains came through.

There was Scruffles the Clow, facepainting, bouncy castles, a rock wall for climing, games, a pet rest station with water and snacks, and more.

The merchants have sidewalk sales and more. The hot dog barbecue at Brennan鈥檚 was to help CritterCare and the non-profit wildlife rehabilitation organization had a display to explain its work. Some businesses offered games and prizes.

Community groups and activities were set up in Brookswood Park.
