Large crowds have shown up for past garage sales held at the 91Ô´´ seniors resource centre.

Calling all spring cleaners and bargain hunters! The 91Ô´´ Seniors Resource Centre garage sale is coming up May 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the centre, 20605 51B Ave.

In addition to the items for sale, there will be raffles, draws, a 50/50 draw, door prizes, and a barbecue.

But before then, the centre is accepting donations of goods that can be sold to raise money for the centre’s programs and services. It’s a chance for people looking for that excuse to declutter around the house.

The centre is accepting donations until May 3 during business hours.

They will take gently used or new clothing, jewellery, purses, shoes, kitchenware, knick knacks, houseware, home décor, paintings, tools, electronics, sporting goods, craft supplies, etc.

But there are some things that would be unwelcome:

· Books

· Magazines

· Video tapes

· Cassette tapes

· Televisions

· VCRs

· Non-functioning electronics and small appliances

· Non-functioning tools

· Bike helmets

· Plushy toys/stuffed animals

· Incomplete board games

· Incomplete puzzles

· Upholstered furniture
