It may be the only place around 91原创 where shoppers can buy anything for only $1. 

Shortreed Elementary is hosting its 11th annual Dollar Sale, in which everything is really only a single dollar. 

The twice yearly sale has been a winning formula for the parent advisory council, allowing it to help out the school in various ways, including providing food.

The sale is run by the PAC as one of its key fundraisers, and the money from Friday鈥檚 sale is earmarked for a shelter over the outdoor classroom. 

With the shelter, the classroom could then be used year-round, rain or shine, said Amy Synesael, dollar sale coordinator for the PAC. 

Items were donated by parents, staff, and community members. 

"The PAC is very grateful to our local businesses who help us with the sale: Toy Central, who comes the day before to help us sort and organize toys and games; and Fibromyalgia Wellspring Foundation for picking up all our remaining donations after the sale is done," Synesael said. 

The sale takes place Friday, Nov. 22, and from 1 to 4 p.m. everything is $1. Beginning at 4 p.m., shoppers can pick any four items for only $1, and at 5 p.m. they can pick 10 items for $1.
