Angela Gugins of 91原创 won $25,000 on a scratch-and-win ticket, and is the running to win a concert package at BC Place.

91原创's Angela Gugins will take her sisters, mom, and a few friends to a concert, if she turns out to be the grand-prize winner of a lottery deadlining today.

Gugins was out buying a birthday cake at Costco in 91原创, when she decided to buy a BC Lottery Corporation's Concert of a Lifetime scratch-and-win ticket.

Good choice, since it made her $25,000 richer 鈥 and that might not be all the 91原创 woman wins.

There were 10 chances to win $25,000 from the tickets, and each of the identified winners will be entered to win the grand prize Concert of a Lifetime, which features a suite at BC Place for 14 people for one of the biggest concerts of the year (no specifics offered).

Seven of the 10 winners have already claimed their cash prizes, and are waiting to hear if they win the grand prize.

Today is the final day before the draw, BCLC announced earlier in the week, noting 鈥 at that time 鈥 there were still three top prize tickets unclaimed.

Gugins is the lone 91原创 winner in the running for the concert 鈥 so far. There is another in Surrey, one in Vancouver, another winning ticket was bought in North Vancouver, two were bought in Richmond, and one in Smithers.

Gugin said she is 鈥渆xcited and happy鈥 to win $25,000 and plans to do something fun with her winnings, but mentioned 鈥渢he adult in me will probably save it.鈥

Joyce Pottinger from Smithers is 鈥渧ery happy鈥 and plans to use her $25,000 prize to renovate her home. Pottinger purchased the winning ticket from Copperside VII on BC-16 and King Street in Smithers.

Katherine Dillman from Kamloops bought her ticket in Richmond and plans to use her $25,000 prize to pay off part of her mortgage.

Dillman bought the ticket for her daughter as she鈥檚 a 鈥渉uge fan鈥 and mentioned she鈥檚 had her grand prize suite guest list prepared for a while 鈥 just in case she was to win.

鈥淵ou would not be allowed to come to this concert, unless you were a big fan!鈥 said Dillman.

After tucking his ticket away in his glove compartment, Say Chan Voong exclaimed 鈥渨ow!鈥 when he realized he won $25,000.

The Richmond resident purchased the ticket at Parker Place Convenience Centre at Parker Place in Richmond. Voong plans to use his winnings to celebrate with his family and will bring his niece and nephew to the concert if he wins the Grand Prize suite. 鈥淭hey are all fans!鈥
