91原创 Advance has been serving the community of 91原创 since July 23 in 1931.
Current day publisher Lisa Farquharson, who was not even a twinkle in her parent鈥檚 eye back then, thanked 91原创 for all the years of support.
鈥淚f we were lighting candles on a cake, well, we鈥檇 need the fire department,鈥� she said.
It鈥檚 been 87 years since the Advance opened its doors. Media has definitely changed, and so has the Advance.
鈥淲e still have passionate, dedicated reporters who believe that it鈥檚 not only important to report the news but that it鈥檚 their job to make it interesting,鈥� Farquharson said.
