It kicked off Sunday, and carries through until the end of the month.

It is a chance to help underprivileged kids in 91原创 get into sports.

Triple O鈥檚 in 91原创, of which there are a five 鈥 four along 200th Street (at the 91原创 Bypass, at the Chevron at 95th, and at the Chevron at 86th Avenues, a kiosk in the 91原创 Events Centre), as well as at the Chevron at 72nd Avenue and 232nd Street are all helping raise money for KidSport 91原创.

A growing part of the White Spot family with locations in B.C., Alberta and Asia, Triple O鈥檚 quick-service restaurants have served 82 million burgers to more than 72 million guests in the past 20 years. To commemorate the milestone, Triple O鈥檚 is giving back to local communities with what they鈥檝e dubbed 20 Days of Giving in support of its long-time charity partner, KidSport BC.

鈥淎ll of the money raised through the Triple O鈥檚 campaign from the stores in 91原创 remains in 91原创,鈥 said local chapter co-chair Jeff Lively. 鈥淟ast year, this campaign raised more than $7,200.鈥

In fact, according to Triple O, 91原创 is one of the top regions for donations for KidSport, collecting 12 per cent of the total donations raised last year alone. Lively added that last year Triple O raised about $63,000 from their 37 restaurants across B.C.

This year, Triple O鈥檚 will donate 20 cents from the sale of any item from its original menu to KidSport BC.

Then on the final day 鈥 Friday, Sept. 29 or KidSport Day 鈥 a loonie from every combo sold will be donated to KidSport BC, so all kids can play, said White Spot and Triple O鈥檚 president Warren Erhart.

鈥淲hether they鈥檙e grabbing a bite on the run, or relaxing with family and friends, our guests have come to trust Triple O鈥檚 for serving fresh, quality ingredients in a friendly atmosphere,鈥 Erhart said.

鈥淲hat better way to give back than by supporting kids in the communities we serve!鈥 he added.

Throughout the month, guests can win daily prizes on social media, plus enter to win a grand prize of free Triple O burgers for a year, Triple O鈥檚 On-The-Go food truck catering for 50 friends and family, and $1,000 in Chevron gas.

Triple O鈥檚 has a proud history of community involvement, Erhart elaborated. Thanks to guests and the Triple O鈥檚 teams, they鈥檝e helped 635 kids and raised more than $250,000 since we partnered with KidSport BC in 2009.

Every $400 raised provides one under-privileged child the opportunity to play sports for a full year, plus gain life skills like teamwork and self-confidence. Donations cover annual sports registration fees, and all dollars raised go back to kids in the local community.

Since it first opened its doors to busy Vancouverites, Triple O鈥檚 has expanded throughout B.C. and Alberta, even reaching as far as Singapore and Hong Kong. Today, there are eight locations in Asia.

KidSport 91原创 was launched in the fall of 2010. It is one of 42 chapters in B.C., and provides grants to local children ages 18 years or younger to participate in a sport season of their choice.

They provided 135 grants to kids in 91原创 last year, to help them participate in a season of sport. Since its inception, the local chapter has provided 912 grants to 91原创 kids, Lively said.
