Businesswomen, mothers and the Enterprising Moms Network are coming together in 91原创 to support women in business to create a new network in the community.

The latest chapter of the Enterprising Moms Network will hold its launch party at the Barnes Harley Davidson Building in 91原创 from 7- 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3.

The Enterprising Moms Network (EMN) is all about giving moms the tools, expertise and resources that they need to get started or keep going in the business world while reminding them that it is possible to be a good mom too.

Kasia Rachfall, chapter director for the 91原创 chapter of the EMN is launching this chapter to help 91原创 mom entrepreneurs support each other with monthly chapter meetings. Rachfall is the owner of Fresh Perspective Family coaching and author of Keys for Moms: Enough is Enough.

Each month there will be a guest speaker who will touch on such topics as marketing and business management to raising children and family life.

鈥淚t鈥檚 open to all women in 91原创, you don鈥檛 have to be a mom,鈥� Rachfall said.

The EMN is a group of supportive women who are all active within the business community and during each meeting women are given the chance to meet with each other in a forum to brainstorm ideas, whether they are about business or family life. 鈥淚t鈥檚 more than just a networking group, it鈥檚 like a sisterhood where you can come and get support for anything,鈥� said Rachfall.

In 2007, Kelley Scarsbrook started the EMN in White Rock. Now, four years later,  there are 14 chapters in B.C., Ontario and Alberta.

Keynote speaker for the meeting will be local businesswoman and founder of Triple Win Thinkers, Harmony Thiessen.

After the speaker, there will be a small celebration, including a draw for door prizes with coffee, tea and a few treats. Attendance is free, so take an opportunity to meet some businesswomen in the community.
